One guy might've been an actual Pimp!

So I went for a job interview yesterday.
Nervous was an understatement. It was conservative bank.
I made sure my nail polish was muted, wore black slacks and a blazer.
Instead of a necklace I chose to go with a black and white poka dot scarf and crimson kitten heels for a understated punch of color.
My outfit was picked strategically so as to optimize my chances to get this position.
I had a plan, baby!  First, impress them with my outer appearance and then
wow them with my personality!
I fought the traffic that is inevitable with a trip to Downtown Los Angeles, parked my car, walked the city block to the high-rise in my casual flats, that I packed for just such a necessity. ;)
Looking good, feeling anxious!
And what do I see when I get there?
Skinny jeans, capri leggings, SUPER short dresses, just barely covered midriffs and the kind of mixed bag of craziness one can only see downtown!
I think one guy might've been an actual Pimp!
Why?!  Why wouldn't you…?  I mean…? At least try…?  It's a freakin' bank for crying out loud!
Not all of the other candidates looked like that.  But I'd say at least a two-thirds.
Suddenly, I wasn't so nervous.
SMH.  Really?  Psssh.
I just pulled out my phone n played Tetris until it was my turn.
What anxiety?  ;)
My next entry about this better be… I GOT A JOB!
lol.

p.s. I think it is important to note that if a pimp and I

are at the same recruitment my life has taken a
really bizarre turn… ;-P

  2. IDK about the job yet. It was the 1st in a series. You know how that goes. And yes, TOTAL relief. My chances felt pretty good by the looks of that room. LOL. And when the bank rep came into the room to call the names of the interviewees, from the list that we all signed ourselves) one lady didn't even spell her name right! She forgot the 'o-n' in Thompson. I was in shock. Seriously? Your name? So we shall see! I got really good feedback from my interviewer when I was done. :) But maybe I'll just pass on the job and become a full-time blogger? ;-P

And don't you tease me about the clothes! I'll take 'em! ;)
